ปัญหาของผ้าทอมือเส้นใยจากธรรมชาติ สีย้อมจากธรรมสีไม่คงทน,ยับง่าย,ไม่สามารถต้านเชื้อแบดทีเรีย,ใช้เป็นสักระยะไม่มีความคงทนของเส้นใย ทำให้ยืดและยวน ทำให้ผ้าทอมือของไทยไมสามารถทำการตลาดในยุโรป และตลาดที่มีศักยภาพสูง

My Product (ในประเทศไทยมีเศษไหมเหลือทิ้งจากกระบวนการผลิตเส้นไหมถึงปีละ 300-400 ตัน(ไม่นับรวมรังไหมตัดหัวที่จะต่อสายพันธุ์) เส้นไหมมีราคากิโลกรัมละ 800-1,200 บาท จึงถือได้ว่าเป็นการสูญเสียทางเศรษฐกิจเป็นอย่างมาก การนำเศษไหมไฟโปรอินมาใช้ประโยชน์จึงเป็นการเพิ่มมูลค่าให้กับไหมไทย ในโครงการนี้เป็นการนำสารละลายเศษไหมมาทำเป็นสารละลาย แล้วนำตกแต่งผ้าฝ้าย เพื่อเพิ่มสมบัติการต้านเชื้อแบดทีเรีย การกันยับ ทำให้รีดง่าย ลดกลิ่นที่เกิดขึ้นจากการสวมใส่ และทำให้สวยใส่สบายมากขึ้น ผ้าฝ้ายที่ตกแต่งสำเร็จด้วยเศษไหมไฟโบรอินมีความคงทนต่อการซักถึง 30 รอบ) ผลิตภัณฑ์
